Oven cleaning in Lyne from £77 by London Oven Cleaners. The oven is rebuilt and heated, you look it over, and anything missed is cleaned again before we leave.

Lyne was written la Linde, the lime tree, in 1208, and its church came much later: Holy Trinity on Lyne Lane was built in 1849 in the Early English style, to a design by F. Francis.

A hamlet of lanes west of the M25

For centuries Lyne was a hamlet of Chertsey parish on Chertsey Abbey land, and it is still small. Most of its houses line two long, low-density roads, and one of them, Almners Road, takes its name from Almners, a 17th-century house listed Grade II. On Hardwick Lane, tree-ring dating has put the timbers of the Hardwick Court Farm barn at 1445, and in the 1970s the M25 was routed through two of the farm's fields. The Great Cockcrow miniature railway opened on part of the farm's land in 1968.

Park homes off Almners Road and Hardwick Lane

A good part of Lyne lives in park homes. Runnymede's register of licensed residential caravan sites lists Little Almners, Walnut Tree Farm and Fan Grove Park on Almners Road, Green Acres Farm on Hardwick Lane, High Trees on Holloway Hill and Lyne Farm on Lyne Crossing Road. In the census area that takes in Lyne Lane, Hardwick Lane and Lyne Crossing Road (Runnymede 008A, which also reaches into Longcross), 25.4% of the 674 households lived in a caravan or other mobile home in 2021, about one in four.

Village cottage kitchen with a freestanding cooker

A park home kitchen usually has a compact built-in oven or a slot-in cooker with the hob on top. The cleaning is the same as in a house. Racks, trays and side runners come out and are soaked and cleaned separately, while the cavity, the fan cover and the door glass are degreased by hand, and the door is split where its design allows.

Parking on Lyne Lane

Surrey County Council's 2025 parking review proposed double yellow lines either side of the entrance to Lyne Village Hall and recreation ground car park on Lyne Lane, because parked cars were blocking access and the view for drivers leaving. Nobody objected, and the October 2025 decision was to go ahead. Elsewhere, read the signs on your lane; a drive or a hardstanding by the home is the easiest place for the van.

Lyne oven cleaning questions

Do you come out to the park home sites on Almners Road?

Yes, at the same prices as anywhere else. Give us the site name and the plot number when you book.

Can you come at the weekend?

Yes. We work seven days a week, and a Saturday or Sunday costs the weekday price.

How long will a single oven take?

About 90 minutes. A double takes about two hours, and the oven should be cool when we arrive.

Reviews from our rounds

Nice hardworking lads that always do a good job. We used them for our old flat when moving out and for the new one now, both jobs were done very professionally. My wife is very impressed with the results and would recommend them to friends and family.

PaulW5

Very satisfied with the service. They were slightly late at first but I got a call from customer service to let me know, and it was all fine. The oven man, as he called himself, arrived and worked very hard for a couple of hours. My oven now looks like it has never been used.

JoanaTW13

Brilliant clean, my oven looks like brand new. A 5 star clean.
