By the 1820s the Robin Hood Inn, set up at the junction of Kingston Vale and Robin Hood Lane, was a staging post for coaches on the London to Portsmouth road, and in 1870 it was rebuilt across the road with stabling for 30 horses. It has since been turned into flats.

Parking for the van in Kingston Vale

The Kingston Hill zone, Zone H, covers streets such as Manorgate Road and Berystede, Monday to Saturday, 8.30am to 6.30pm, according to the council's zone list.
