Two kinds of King's Cross kitchen
South of Euston Road the streets date from the 1820s to the 1840s. Some integrated ovens in newer blocks are pyrolytic, with a self-clean programme. It helps, though it covers less of the oven than people tend to assume.

Parking in Camden's King's Cross zone, CA-D
Camden's King's Cross parking zone is CA-D. When the council consulted on its hours in autumn 2025, CA-D was controlled from 8.30am to 6.30pm on weekdays and 8.30am to 1.30pm on Saturdays, with no controls on Sundays. Longer hours were on the table, possibly as a trial, so check the plate on the bay. Under the 2025 hours a Sunday visit avoided the permit question, and weekends cost the same as weekdays. The team needs somewhere to park.
