Most of our Kilburn Park work is the new-build flats thrown up by the South Kilburn regeneration, which has been demolishing the old tower blocks and rebuilding since 2014 toward roughly 2,400 homes. Those flats almost all run one integrated single oven in a fitted galley kitchen. Carlton Vale is the road that splits the north and south halves of the estate, and either side the pattern is the same modern built-in cooker. Opposite them, along Cambridge Avenue by Kilburn Park tube, the older Victorian terraces still hold freestanding cookers, so a short street can flip between the two types.
The kitchens here
The mansion-block flats on Cambridge Avenue and around Rudolph Road and Kilburn Park Road are compact, so the technician carries the racks straight out to the van rather than working over a small worktop. Integrated single ovens are the bread and butter. Now and then a larger conversion off Kilburn Park Road turns up a built-in double, and that runs as the single oven clean multiplied, at £110 for the double.
How the clean works
Racks, shelves, trays and side runners lift out and soak in a heated tank in the van. The cavity, fan cover and door glass are degreased by hand indoors with non-caustic products, so there is no chemical smell after. Every oven is heat-tested before we sign it off. A single takes about ninety minutes. The new flats have modern seals and sensors, and the non-caustic method suits them because nothing corrosive goes near the electrics or the glass.
Parking off Carlton Vale
Parking is a real part of the day. This is Brent, and the streets around Carlton Vale and Rudolph Road sit inside the controlled zone on weekdays, so the van takes a pay bay or a permit space while the racks ferry in, and building forecourts on the newer blocks are often permit-only. Kilburn Park tube is right on the doorstep, which keeps the roads busy at the school run. All of NW6 is inside the ULEZ and our van is compliant. There is no call-out fee inside the North and South Circular.

Yes. There is heavy rental turnover here, so we do a lot of checkout ovens and leave a receipt for the deposit paperwork.
Do integrated ovens in the new blocks cost more?
No. The price goes by oven type, not by the kitchen. A single is £77 built in or freestanding.
Can the van reach the newer blocks off Carlton Vale?
We can, though the forecourt bays are often permit-only, so we usually drop into a controlled bay nearby and carry the racks in.
Is the method safe for a modern fan oven with sensors?
Yes. The by-hand, non-caustic clean keeps corrosive product away from seals, glass and electrics, which matters most on the newer cookers.
