Most of our Kidbrooke work is in the new flats. The old Ferrier Estate, the LCC concrete slabs off Rochester Way, came down from 2009 and Berkeley is putting up Kidbrooke Village in its place, more than five thousand homes finishing around 2031. The new blocks and the older streets
The blocks around Cator Park and the village centre by Kidbrooke station are all integrated singles. Older Kidbrooke is a different job. The interwar and postwar houses along Shooters Hill Road and up toward Hornfair Road throw up the odd freestanding range cooker or a proper double, so we quote those on the phone. Whatever the type, the racks, shelves, trays and side runners lift out and soak in the heated tank down in the van, while the cavity, fan cover and door glass are cleaned indoors by hand with non-caustic products. No smell to air out. A single takes about ninety minutes.
Kidbrooke Village turns over tenants at a fair pace, so the end-of-tenancy oven is a steady booking, and we heat-test every oven and sign it off before we leave.

Parking and the carry to the door
Greenwich has consulted on a controlled parking zone for Kidbrooke, so on some streets the permit bays fill by mid-morning, and around the village the visitor bays and the pay-and-display near the station are the realistic option. Tell us the block, the floor and whether the lift is running, because the tank and kit ferry up from the van. Kidbrooke is inside the London-wide ULEZ and our vans meet the standard.

Is the oven usable straight after?
Yes. We heat-test it before leaving, and the non-caustic products mean there is nothing to air out.
