Parking, permits and matchdays
The Grove Park and Strand on the Green CPZ runs Monday to Friday, 10am to noon, so outside it the W4 streets are straightforward. TW8 is another matter on a Brentford home game. The Gtech seats 17,250 and stands two minutes from Kew Bridge station, and the roads around it go permit-only on event days. Give us the date and we check the fixture list first.
Do you clean the integrated ovens in the new blocks?
Constantly. The door splits where the design allows, the racks and runners go out to the tank, and the cavity and fan cover are degreased by hand. The oven stays in its unit and is heat-tested before sign-off. Most of those flats are the £77 single.
Can you park at Verdo or Kew Bridge Rise?
There is usually a visitor bay, and the concierge will point us at it. Tell us the block and floor when you book, because a fourth-floor flat with the lift out changes how we plan the tank runs.
Do you work weekends around Strand-on-the-Green?
Seven days. The towpath houses tend to ask for Saturdays, since the CPZ is off and Thames Road is easier then.
