The census area the House of Commons Library names Kentish Town West (Camden 007) is mostly social housing. At the 2021 Census, 55.4% of its 4,036 households rented from the council or a housing association and 65.6% lived in a purpose-built block of flats.
The West Kentish Town Estate, beside Queen's Crescent, was built in the 1960s. In 2020, 93% of residents who voted backed rebuilding it, on a turnout of almost 85%, and in December 2025 Camden's planning committee resolved to grant permission for more than 850 new homes, at least 326 of them council homes, to be built in phases, the first of 52 homes.

Yes, seven days a week, at the weekday price. Near the station the zone is controlled on Sundays from 9.30am, so give us the street when you book.
Is a double oven in a 1960s flat priced differently?
The price is set by the oven. A double is £110 and takes about two hours.
Do I need to be home the whole time?
