Almost always a single
The peninsula is nearly all flats, and the flats are nearly all fitted with one integrated single oven behind a matching door. Pan Peninsula, Landmark, the Millharbour and Marsh Wall blocks, Baltimore Wharf by Crossharbour, they were built as fitted-kitchen developments, so £77 is the price we quote on the overwhelming majority of E14 jobs. Doubles and ranges do turn up, usually in a larger penthouse or a knocked-through unit, and those are £110 and £114. Down in Cubitt Town and around Manchester Road there are more houses and low-rise, where a freestanding cooker is more likely.

The removable parts, racks, shelves, trays, side runners, come out and soak in the heated tank in the van. The cavity, fan cover and door glass are degreased by hand indoors with non-caustic products, so the flat does not smell of chemicals afterwards, and the oven is heat-tested before we leave. A single is about ninety minutes.
Towers, lifts and the van
Getting to a fortieth-floor kitchen is its own logistics. Tell us the block, the floor, and whether there is a service lift or a loading bay, because on the tighter developments the concierge will want the van somewhere specific and the passenger lift may not take a trolley of kit. The Isle of Dogs sits in the council's Zone D, where the controlled hours are 9.30am to 5.30pm on weekdays, a bit later on than most of the borough, so an early-morning or evening slot often means we park easily right outside. Near Mudchute there is no visitor parking at the farm, only limited meters on Pier Street, worth knowing if that is your end.

A transient rental market
Canary Wharf turns over tenants fast, mostly professionals on one or two-year lets, so a large chunk of our E14 work is the oven brought back to check-out standard at the end of a tenancy. For the tenant it protects the deposit; for the letting agent it is the fastest room to re-let. The single oven clean at £77 covers what most of these flats need.

Very satisfied with the service. They were slightly late at first but I got a call from customer service to let me know, and it was all fine. The oven man, as he called himself, arrived and worked very hard for a couple of hours. My oven now looks like it has never been used.
