Oven cleaning in Hutton from £77 with London Oven Cleaners. We heat the rebuilt oven, you look inside, and anything not right is put right before we leave.
Hutton had 33 Arcon prefabs at Brickley Close, built as a continuation of the Brickley Road council houses that Billericay Council put up about 1932. When the Long Ridings estate was built through from Shenfield from the late 1950s, Brickley Road and Brickley Close were renamed Woodland Avenue, and around 1966 the prefabs came down and were replaced with blocks of flats and maisonettes.
Hutton itself was a parish of 1,699 acres with 2,142 people at the 1931 Census. It was abolished on 1 April 1934 to enlarge Brentwood. Its housing estates were built west of the old village. The old village, with All Saints' on Church Lane (early 14th century, largely rebuilt in 1873 by G. E. Street, Grade II* since 1958) and Hutton Hall, has been a conservation area since 23 April 1986.
Woodland Avenue flats, Hutton Mount houses
The 2021 Census counted 6,444 households across the four Hutton wards it used. In Hutton North, which takes in Woodland Avenue, 20.7% of households lived in a purpose-built block of flats and 17.0% rented from the council or a housing association. In Hutton South, which takes in the Hutton Mount roads such as Ridgeway and Longaford Way, 55.4% lived in a detached house and 1.6% rented socially.
Hutton Mount is close to Shenfield. The Hutton and Shenfield Union Church laid its foundation stones there in 1913, and many of the roads are part of a private estate.
A council-built flat or maisonette usually has a compact kitchen with a built-in single or a freestanding cooker. A detached house is where a double oven, a 90cm range or an AGA is more likely, and each of those takes longer on the day: about two hours for a double, two to three for a range, half a day for a two-oven AGA, which has to be switched off the night before.

Parking near the Rayleigh Road shops
Street parking in Hutton is enforced by the South Essex Parking Partnership, with Chelmsford City Council acting for it. An order in force since 18 November 2024 put no-waiting-at-any-time lines on both sides of Birkbeck Road for 10 metres from Fielding Way, the road behind the Rayleigh Road parade, and along 25 metres of Fielding Way itself. The same order made the far end of Windy Hill, off Hanging Hill Lane, a Zone P residents' permit area from 10am to 2pm on weekdays. A later order, in force since 13 July 2026, extended the no-waiting hours on most of Great Oaks, off Rayleigh Road, and on Willow Close, off Mount Avenue, to 9am to 8pm on weekdays and 9am to 5pm at weekends. On any other road, read the signs and lines at the kerb.
The team needs somewhere to park close to the house. The racks, trays and side runners come out and are soaked and cleaned separately, and the cavity, the fan cover and the door glass are degreased by hand indoors, with dust sheets down first and the door split where its design allows. A drive is the easiest place for the van; if you have none, give us the road name when you call.

A double oven comes in two shapes that are easy to confuse with each other and with a single (there is more on the double oven cleaning page):
- Single oven
- one cavity, often with the grill inside it, about 60cm tall; about 90 minutes.
- Built-under double
- two cavities stacked under the worktop, the small top one doubling as the grill; priced as a double.
- Built-in double
- the same pair in a tall housing at eye level; about two hours.
Hutton oven cleaning questions
My maisonette off Woodland Avenue has stairs up to the door. Is that a problem?
No. Mention the stairs when you book.
I live on a private road on Hutton Mount. What do you need?
The same as anywhere: a working socket, the oven cool when we arrive, and space for the van close to the house. On a private road, the drive is the simplest spot.
Does a Saturday visit cost more?
No. We work seven days a week, and weekend visits are charged at the weekday price.
Can the hob be cleaned on the same visit?
Yes. A gas hob is £28 and a ceramic one £23. A single oven, hob and extractor done together is £117.

Reviews from our rounds
Nice hardworking lads that always do a good job. We used them for our old flat when moving out and for the new one now, both jobs were done very professionally. My wife is very impressed with the results and would recommend them to friends and family.
Arrived promptly and did a great job cleaning the oven, hob and extractor. They look like new now and for a very reasonable price too.
Once again a great job guys, I will see you in a couple of months.
