The stretch of Holloway Road opposite the London Metropolitan University Tower Building, N7 8DB, is heavy on student and shared lets, and the terraces around Hornsey Road and Sussex Way carry a real HMO count. That means a steady run of move-out cleans in June and July, when the racks are baked hard and the door glass is worst. No call-out fee inside the North and South Circular, and Holloway is well within it. A single takes about ninety minutes. A double is nearer two hours.
Common questions from Holloway
Will there be a chemical smell in the flat afterwards?
No. The caustic soaking happens in the tank in the van. Inside your kitchen we use non-caustic products by hand on the cavity, fan cover and glass, so you can cook the same evening.
Can you do a move-out oven clean near London Met?
Yes, and we do a lot of them around the Holloway Road campus and the shared houses off Hornsey Road. We heat-test and sign the oven off before leaving, which is the bit inventory clerks check.
My flat is a top-floor conversion off Hillmarton Road with no lift. Is that a problem?
It is fine. The heavy soaking is done downstairs at the van, so only the hand tools come up the stairs.
Do you charge more because Holloway parking is difficult?
