A village of listed kitchens
Highgate is the closest thing north London has to a preserved Georgian village, centred on Pond Square and the High Street and running out to The Grove and West Hill. Getting the van close
Parking is a genuine part of the job in the village, because the racks move between the kitchen and the tank. The lanes around Pond Square, The Grove and Highgate West Hill are historic and narrow, and a van cannot always sit right outside. The controlled parking zone is weekday mornings, roughly 10am to noon, so afternoons and weekends are the easier windows. The A1 down Archway Road is the busy through-route on the eastern edge. All of N6 is inside the London-wide ULEZ, so our compliant van has no daily charge to pass on.

Very satisfied with the service. They were slightly late at first but I got a call from customer service to let me know, and it was all fine. The oven man, as he called himself, arrived and worked very hard for a couple of hours. My oven now looks like it has never been used.
