The Georgian terraces along Highbury Place and Highbury Crescent sit inside the Highbury Fields Conservation Area, which Islington catalogues as CA05, and nearly all of those houses were carved into flats decades ago. My kitchen is in the lower ground of a Highbury Place house. Is that a problem?
No. The parts get carried out to the van, which is the only bit that changes.
Will the products damage a conservation-area kitchen?
The ones used indoors are non-caustic, so they are safe on painted timber, tiles and the older enamel in the period houses off Highbury Grove.
One thing worth saying plainly about Highbury: the ovens per building run far higher than the street frontage suggests, because twelve Georgian houses on Highbury Place are really forty-odd separate kitchens, each with its own cooker and its own check-out date.
