WC1V is one of the smallest postcode districts in London, roughly 26 acres, with about 270 residents counted at the 2021 census. Nearly all the frontage is office. The flats sit above and behind it: serviced blocks such as Citadines at 94-99 High Holborn, which runs 192 studios and one-bedrooms, plus conversions on Procter Street and Hand Court.

Parking decides how the day runs
High Holborn is inside the Congestion Charge zone, and Procter Street and Drake Street are the A40, so there is nowhere sensible to stop on the main run. The side streets fall in Camden's CA-C zone, where single yellows and paid bays are controlled Monday to Saturday from 08:30 to 18:30 and resident bays run around the clock; Camden's own consultation figures put 311 active resident permits against 284 resident spaces in that zone, which tells you what the kerb looks like by mid-morning.
The dip tank stays in the van, so racks, shelves and trays walk out to it while the cavity, fan cover and door glass are degreased by hand indoors. On a lift-access block that is fine. The ground-floor conversions off Red Lion Square are easier again.
Short lets set the calendar
Corporate and short-let flats dominate the residential stock here, so oven calls cluster around check-out dates rather than Christmas. The Bourne Estate blocks off Leather Lane are a different picture, Edwardian flats with proper separate kitchens, though they sit on the EC1N edge rather than WC1V proper.

Do you charge more for central London?
No. The price in WC1V is the price in Zone 4, and there is no call-out fee inside the North and South Circular.
Will the flat smell of chemicals afterwards?
No. The strong work happens in the heated tank in the van. Indoors we use non-caustic products by hand, which matters in a studio where the kitchen is also the living room.
What if there is no parking outside the block?
We carry in and out on foot from wherever the van lands. Tell us the block when you ring.
How long does it take?
A single oven is about ninety minutes, a double nearer two hours. The oven is heat-tested and signed off before we leave.
