Hersham oven cleaning from £77 with London Oven Cleaners. The oven goes back together and is heated, you check inside, and any corner left wrong is cleaned again before we leave.
Hersham's Green and its Memorial Gardens were originally joined until Burwood Road was built, and with Vaux Mead they are what the Hersham Village conservation area, designated by Elmbridge on 30 August 1989, is based on.
The old hamlet round Hersham Green
Elmbridge's designation statement says the Green, the Memorial Gardens, St Peter's Church and St Stephen's School were the core of the old hamlet. The school on the Green dates from the early 1840s; St Peter's, on Burwood Road, was built in 1887 and is listed Grade II. The Watermans Arms, on the north side of the Green, was reported as trading as early as the 1790s. West of the Green, Faulkners Road and Mills Road are mainly Victorian cottages, and the statement notes that many have been altered and extended.
An extended cottage often has a newer fitted kitchen, and a fitted kitchen normally means a built-in oven, a single under the worktop or a double in a tall housing.

Council-built Hersham: the Longmore Estate
Elmbridge's 2012 character guide for Hersham describes the Longmore Estate, north of Esher Road, as former local authority housing of the 1940s: two-storey pairs and short terraces in a cottage style related to the Garden City movement, with open greens spread through the estate. Vaux Crescent, in the guide's Queensway, Robinsway and Green Lane area, is a set piece of paired houses around a long, sweeping crescent. South of Esher Road the guide finds a more varied mix; in its northern part the houses are mostly post-war semis and terraces, with some flats on Profumo Road.
The 2021 Census shows the result. In the Hersham Village ward, 39.6% of the 3,544 households lived in a semi-detached house, against 25.9% across Elmbridge, and only 19.4% in a detached one. In the same ward 13.5% rented from a social landlord and 14.9% from a private one, so there are tenancies here, and an oven is one of the things a checkout inspection can flag. Agencies can have the invoice in their name and photos of the clean oven for the file; the guide to end of tenancy oven cleaning covers deposits.
Hersham's two private estates
Elmbridge's guide names two distinct private areas of housing in Hersham. Burwood Park was laid out in the grounds of Burwood House, and its road layout, hedges and woodland strips date from then.
A large replacement house is likely to have a large kitchen, with room for a 90cm range or a 100cm one; the range oven cleaning page explains that visit. Whiteley Village, on a 225-acre estate in the Green Belt, is a philanthropic retirement village whose buildings are mostly listed Grade II; it has been a conservation area since March 1979.

Parking near Hersham Green
The 2012 guide lists on-street parking as a continuing issue throughout Hersham, and in Vaux Crescent cars park both in the road and on front gardens. Elmbridge runs a 32-space car park in New Berry Lane, beside the large Waitrose car park and close to the Hersham Green shopping centre, with charges Monday to Saturday from 9am to 6pm, and another in Mayfield Road on the Guildford-bound side of Hersham station. Street restrictions are Surrey County Council's, so read the signs in your road. The team needs somewhere to park, which is why the nearest legal space beats the cheapest one.
Hersham oven cleaning questions
Is Hersham the same as Walton-on-Thames?
No. Both are in Elmbridge and share KT12 postcodes, but Hersham is its own village, centred south of the Hersham Bypass; Walton-on-Thames has a separate page.
Can you clean a range cooker in a Burwood Park house?
Yes. A 90cm range is £143 and a 100cm range is £167; a 90cm takes two to three hours.
I am moving out of a flat on Profumo Road. What do you need?
A working socket, the oven cool when we arrive, and somewhere for the van close by. If the agency is paying, the invoice can go to them.

What customers tell us
I would certainly recommend this service, very efficient and good value for money. The young man did a great job and even cleaned the kitchen floor. Thank you.
Arrived promptly and did a great job cleaning the oven, hob and extractor. They look like new now and for a very reasonable price too.
Very satisfied with the service. They were slightly late at first but I got a call from customer service to let me know, and it was all fine. The oven man, as he called himself, arrived and worked very hard for a couple of hours. My oven now looks like it has never been used.
