The Victoria County History records the largest estate in Harrow since the war as one built by the London County Council at Headstone: 153 acres south of Uxbridge Road, housing 5,000 people from London. One lane, two postcode districts
Headstone Lane itself runs for about two kilometres, from the North Harrow end past the Headstone Manor recreation ground and the station up to Uxbridge Road. Zone Z, round the station
Zone Z, which the council's map names Headstone Lane, covers the streets closest to the station, Long Elmes, Letchford Terrace, Broadfields, Barmor Close and Randon Close among them. It is controlled from 10am to 3pm, Monday to Friday, which is most of a working day, so a weekday visit inside the zone needs a drive for the van or a visitor permit. Saturdays and Sundays have no zone hours and cost the weekday price.
Tillotson Road, Ufford Road, Augustine Road and the streets towards Harrow View fell outside the zone on the map in October 2026, though the plate at the end of your road is the final word. The team needs somewhere to park for the whole visit.

Arrived promptly and did a great job cleaning the oven, hob and extractor. They look like new now and for a very reasonable price too.
Very satisfied with the service. They were slightly late at first but I got a call from customer service to let me know, and it was all fine. The oven man, as he called himself, arrived and worked very hard for a couple of hours. My oven now looks like it has never been used.
