How we clean the oven
Racks, shelves, trays and side runners lift out and soak in a heated tank in the van, so the caustic work stays sealed out of your kitchen. The cavity, the fan cover and the door glass we degrease by hand indoors with non-caustic products, and that is why there is no chemical smell once we leave. Where the door design allows, we split it and clean the inner pane. The oven is then heat-tested and signed off. A single runs about ninety minutes; a double closer to two hours.
Parking on the semis and the new blocks
Parking rarely fights us in the older part of Hayes End, because the 1930s semis mostly have a driveway or a wide verge, and the van can sit near the door while parts go out to the tank and back. It tightens up nearer the Uxbridge Road and around the factory-conversion flats, where the bays fill and some carry Hillingdon controls in the daytime. Common questions
Do you clean the older wall-fitted doubles in the 1930s semis?
Yes, that is a lot of our Hayes End work. A built-in double from that era comes apart the same way, we soak the removable parts in the tank, hand-clean the cavity and glass, then refit and heat-test. It is the £110 job.
Will there be a chemical smell after?
No. The caustic soaking happens in the sealed tank out in the van. Indoors we work by hand with non-caustic products, so you can cook the same evening.
Can you clean the integrated ovens in the factory-conversion flats?
Yes. The integrated singles slide out on their runners, we clean the back and sides, refit and heat-test. That is the £77 job.
Are you open weekends in Hayes End?
