A survey made for Lord North in 1596-8 found 22 dwellings at Hayes End, only seven of them cottages, with more than 203 acres of enclosed land around them. On Rocque's map of 1754 the hamlet was built along Hayes End Road and Park Lane, which was then Bag Lane and was widened in the 20th century. It lay about a mile and a quarter west of Hayes church.
Semis between Hayes End Road and Charville Lane

Parking for the van in Hayes End
On Hillingdon's March 2026 map of parking management schemes, the Uxbridge Road at Hayes End has Stop & Shop bays, and the nearest permit shading is a strip running north-west from the main road towards Hillingdon Heath. Hayes End Road and the semi streets to the north are not shaded on it. Where there are permit bays, the council says the hours are usually 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, but each scheme sets its own and the council's traffic orders for the Hayes End and Hillingdon Heath scheme use other hours, so the sign on the street is what counts.
