Oven cleaning in Haverstock from £77 with London Oven Cleaners. We reassemble and light the oven, you look inside, and any corner not right is cleaned again before we leave.
Queen's Crescent market trades on Thursdays and Saturdays between Malden Road and Grafton Road, on the street where Sainsbury's opened its second shop, at No. 159, in the early 1870s.
Haverstock is also the name of the ward around it, one of the Camden wards that kept its name when the borough's map was redrawn for the 2022 elections. It runs from Haverstock School on Haverstock Hill, opposite Chalk Farm station, up to Maitland Park and Queen's Crescent, a street the ward shares with Gospel Oak. The Roundhouse end of Chalk Farm Road has its own Chalk Farm page.
Most Haverstock homes are flats in purpose-built blocks
At the 2021 Census the ward had 5,111 households. Of those, 46.6% rented from the council or a housing association (38.2% from the council itself), 27.7% rented privately and 24.9% owned. Two households in three, 66.3%, lived in a purpose-built block of flats, and only about one in eight had a whole house.
The Maitland Park estate grew in stages from the 1930s to the 1980s. Its newest part was finished in December 2023: 119 homes designed by Cullinan Studio for Camden Council, 51 of them council homes, in three blocks named after Noor Inayat Khan, Mary Prince and Antony Grey. The new blocks are fully electric, with air-source heat pumps, which usually means electric cooking rather than gas.

A flat on the fourth floor changes the walk and nothing else. Racks, trays and side runners come out and are soaked and cleaned separately, while the cavity, the fan cover and the inside of the door glass are degreased by hand in your kitchen. Dust sheets go down before any of it, and the door is split where its design allows.

Parking for the van in CA-L or CA-F(nw)
Haverstock sits across two Camden parking zones with very different hours. In the council's own zone data, last updated in September 2025:
- CA-L Outer
- Maitland Park, Grafton Terrace and the western end of Queen's Crescent (the eastern end is CA-L Inner, with the same hours). Controlled 8.30am to 6.30pm, Monday to Friday; no Saturday or Sunday hours are listed.
- CA-F(nw)
- Haverstock Hill by Haverstock School and Chalk Farm station, and Ferdinand Street. Controlled 8.30am to 11pm on weekdays and 9.30am to 11pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
So a Saturday visit on the Maitland Park side falls outside the controlled hours, at the weekday price, while a few hundred metres south the bays are controlled until 11pm every day. The plate on the bay has the final word, so give us the street when you call and we can plan where the van stops.
Haverstock oven cleaning questions
Can you come on a Queen's Crescent market day?
Yes, we work seven days a week. Camden lists the market as 10am to 4.30pm on Thursdays and Saturdays, until 7pm in summer, and the nearest place for the van may then be a side street.
Is a new-build oven in Maitland Park priced differently?
No. The price follows the oven: a built-in single oven is £77 and a double is £110, whether the block dates from the 1930s or from 2023.
Can the van use one of my visitor permits?
Camden sells visitor permits to residents for their own visitors. Builders, trades and other service providers come under the council's separate trade permit, so mention your zone when you book and the parking is worked out before the day.
How long will it take?
About 90 minutes for a single oven and about two hours for a double. A 90cm range cooker takes two to three hours.

Reviews from our rounds
Very satisfied with the service. They were slightly late at first but I got a call from customer service to let me know, and it was all fine. The oven man, as he called himself, arrived and worked very hard for a couple of hours. My oven now looks like it has never been used.
Brilliant clean, my oven looks like brand new. A 5 star clean.
Once again a great job guys, I will see you in a couple of months.
