Oven cleaning in Hatton, TW14, the hamlet on the south-eastern edge of Heathrow. Dip-tank method, seven days a week, single ovens from £77.
Hatton straddles the A30 and sits in two boroughs at once, Hillingdon and Hounslow, with the airport-facing north of it consolidated into Hillingdon in 1994. It is still technically a hamlet of Bedfont, separated from it by a field and some sports facilities, with North Feltham south and the River Crane closing it off east.
The name means heath farmstead
That is Anglo-Saxon, and until 1819 the cultivated ground and small residential gardens here were ringed by open heath. In 1086 Roger de Montgomery, Earl of Arundel, held one and a half hides at Hatton, land that in the reign of Edward the Confessor had been held by two sokemen and that belonged to the earl's manor of Colham. The heath went. Depots, warehouses, hotels and airport parking took the north, which is why the residential part is so small.
The Green Man predates the runway by three centuries
The surviving coaching inn dates from 1640 and has a hiding-hole behind its chimney, left from the decades when this stretch was known for highway robbery, and a road nearby is called Dick Turpin Way. Its garden now looks straight up at the Heathrow flight paths.
Hatton Cross was the end of the line
The station opened on 19 July 1975 in the first phase of the Piccadilly line extension from Hounslow West, and it stayed the terminus until Heathrow Central opened on 16 December 1977. It takes its name from the crossroads of the Great South West Road and Hatton Road. Tell us the road when you call. On a locality this hemmed in, it changes where the van sits.
The tank never comes indoors
Racks, shelves, trays and side runners lift out and soak in the heated tank in the van. Cavity, fan cover and door glass are degreased by hand with non-caustic products, so nothing smells of chemicals after, and the oven is heat-tested before it is signed off. Hatton is inside Greater London and the London-wide ULEZ applies. That is on us. Fixed price, no premium-area surcharge on a TW14 address, and a hob done alongside the oven is £23–28.

Questions from Hatton
Do you cover the Hillingdon side as well?
Yes. The borough boundary runs through the locality and makes no difference to what you pay.
Do you need my sink?
No. Tank and water are both in the van.
Will the kitchen smell afterwards?
It should not. The soaking is done outside and what goes on indoors is non-caustic.
How long do you need?
About 90 minutes for a single, two hours for a double.

Said after the sign-off
Nice hardworking lads that always do a good job. We used them for our old flat when moving out and for the new one now, both jobs were done very professionally. My wife is very impressed with the results and would recommend them to friends and family.
I would certainly recommend this service, very efficient and good value for money. The young man did a great job and even cleaned the kitchen floor. Thank you.
Once again a great job guys, I will see you in a couple of months.
