The housing is a thin strip south of the A30
North of the Great South West Road there is almost nothing left to clean. Heathrow took the old hamlet, and what stands there now is car parks, freight depots and hotels, with that side of Hatton moved into Hillingdon back in 1994. The homes sit south of the A30, between Hatton Cross station and Bedfont: semis and maisonettes built between the 1930s and the 1950s, most with the original kitchen footprint even where the units have been swapped twice. Maisonette kitchens here are narrow, so the cooker is usually a freestanding 60cm with a wall unit directly above the hob, which is why the extractor filter is often in a worse state than the oven itself.
The A30 sets the working hours
The Great South West Road is a red route and one of the main feeds into the airport, so it carries airport traffic at hours that would be quiet elsewhere. We park on the residential side streets rather than the A30 itself. Nothing is ever unloaded on a red route.

Shift work drives the tenancy work
Hatton Cross is a Piccadilly line stop with the terminals one or two stops away, and the streets around it are full of rooms and flats let to people who work at the airport. Those tenancies end on short notice. A single oven clean at £77 is what most of those bookings are, sometimes with the hob added.

Can you come early or late for shift work?
We work seven days and book by slot, so an early start or a weekend is usually possible if you ask when you ring.
Does an agent accept this for a check-out?
The oven is heat-tested and signed off before we leave, and the invoice names the address and the work done, which is what a letting agent wants to see.
Will the kitchen smell of chemicals?
No. The strong stuff stays in the sealed tank in the van, and the products used indoors are non-caustic.

Very satisfied with the service. They were slightly late at first but I got a call from customer service to let me know, and it was all fine. The oven man, as he called himself, arrived and worked very hard for a couple of hours. My oven now looks like it has never been used.
