Harold Park is the north-eastern end of Harold Wood, squeezed between the A12 and the River Ingrebourne, with the M25 just beyond.
Bungalows and semis by the Ingrebourne
Wikipedia's article on Harold Park says that after the First World War the Essex builders Iles and Company laid out a bungalow estate called Sunnytown on Horse Block Farm, north-east of Harold Court Road, and that later building filled the gaps, with some industry beside the Ingrebourne. The Victoria County History dates Harold Court school, on Church Road, to 1929.
The census does not count bungalows separately, but it does show a settled, owner-occupied place. In the census area that takes in Harold Court Road, Ingreway, Elgin Avenue and Geoffrey Avenue (Havering 007C), 41.5% of the 697 households lived in a semi in 2021, 26.4% in a terrace and 23.2% in a detached house; only 3.9% were in purpose-built flats. 82.8% owned their home and 47.2% owned it outright.
A bungalow has one practical advantage on the day: no stairs between the oven and the front door. The racks, trays and side runners come out and are soaked and cleaned separately, and the cavity, fan cover and door glass are degreased by hand indoors, on dust sheets.

Harold Court, now flats
Harold Court is a white stock-brick Italianate house built between about 1868 and 1870 for William Richard Preston, a Brentwood solicitor and land developer, south of the railway on the Upminster side of the old parish boundary. It was a children's home from 1882, an annexe of the county lunatic asylum at Warley from 1892, a tuberculosis sanatorium from 1918 and, from 1963, a branch of Brentwood College of Education, before it was turned into flats. A flat made inside an old building usually gets a fitted kitchen with a built-in oven.

Harold Park oven questions
Is Harold Park a separate place from Harold Wood?
Not really. It is part of Harold Wood and in the same council ward; the streets round the station are on the Harold Wood page.
My bungalow kitchen is small. What is done indoors?
Indoors the work is the hand cleaning of the cavity, the fan cover and the door glass, on dust sheets, while the racks, trays and side runners come out and are soaked and cleaned separately.
How long does a single oven take?
About an hour and a half. Once it is back together it is heated, and you check it lit before we pack up.

Said after the sign-off
Nice hardworking lads that always do a good job. We used them for our old flat when moving out and for the new one now, both jobs were done very professionally. My wife is very impressed with the results and would recommend them to friends and family.
Arrived promptly and did a great job cleaning the oven, hob and extractor. They look like new now and for a very reasonable price too.
Very satisfied with the service. They were slightly late at first but I got a call from customer service to let me know, and it was all fine. The oven man, as he called himself, arrived and worked very hard for a couple of hours. My oven now looks like it has never been used.
