Permit zones near the airport
Hatch Lane, Candover Close, Zealand Avenue and Moor Lane are on the street list for Zone H1 of the council's Heathrow parking management scheme; Summerhouse Lane and the High Street are not. In the council's 2026 draft order the Zone H1 bays on Candover Close and Moor Lane run Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, and those on Zealand Avenue run Monday to Saturday, 9am to 5pm; elsewhere in the zone other timetables run up to 8am to 10pm every day. Is the third runway decided?
The runway has not been approved. The government's choice of Heathrow Airport Limited's north-west scheme in November 2025 was not a final decision, the consultation on the draft policy statement closed on 1 September 2026, and the draft itself grants no consent. Any planning decision is expected in the first half of 2029.
