Hanwell is mostly Victorian and Edwardian terraces, and those houses are where the interesting ovens turn up. Parking is the real Hanwell problem
The controlled zones here are the tightest of any area we cover. Around Hanwell station the H1 zone bites in three short windows a day, roughly 9 to 10, 3 to 4 and 6 to 7, running along Church Road from the Uxbridge Road down to Greenford Avenue. The town centre zone is stricter still, Monday to Saturday all day, and Old Hanwell covers Boston Road too. None of it stops the clean, because the racks soak in the tank while the technician works.
The newer demand is the flats. Hanwell Square, the W7 development off the Uxbridge Road, brought one and two-bed homes with integrated single ovens, and those come to us between lets more than the old terraces do.
