Hamsey Green oven cleaning from £77, on both sides of the county line, by London Oven Cleaners. The cleaned oven is lit for you to inspect, and we fix anything you spot before leaving.
Hamsey Green Parade, the row of shops on Limpsfield Road, was built in 1933, while Sanderstead's main shops further north were going up between 1932 and 1938.
A suburb split between Croydon and Surrey
The Greater London boundary runs through Hamsey Green. Tithe Pit Shaw Lane, Audley Drive and the north end of Kingswood Lane are in the London Borough of Croydon's Sanderstead ward, though their addresses still read Warlingham, CR6. Further north, Limpsfield Road and Kingswood Avenue have South Croydon CR2 addresses. South of the line, Hamsey Green Gardens, Verdayne Gardens and Warlingham School on Tithepit Shaw Lane are in Tandridge, Surrey. Kingswood Lane has postcodes on both sides.
For an oven clean the split matters mostly for parking, since the two councils set their own rules; give us the full address so we can plan where the van stops.
Semi-detached houses on the Croydon side
At the 2021 Census the Croydon side of Hamsey Green (census area Croydon 039C, which covers Kingswood Avenue, Tithe Pit Shaw Lane and Audley Drive) had 561 households, and 64.3% of them lived in a semi-detached house. Only 8.4% were in purpose-built flats. On the Surrey side, the census area that runs from Hamsey Green Gardens down to Warlingham Green was 43.8% semis.
A house of that kind may have a built-in double oven or a freestanding cooker. Either way, the racks, trays and side runners come out and are soaked and cleaned separately while the cavity, the fan cover and the door glass are degreased by hand indoors, over dust sheets.
- Built-in double
- Two ovens stacked in a housing unit, the top one smaller with the grill. Both cavities are cleaned; £110, about two hours.
- Freestanding cooker
- Oven and hob in one unit, sometimes with a separate grill. Tell us its width and how many ovens it has when you call, and the price is fixed then.
The double oven cleaning page has more on the two-cavity job.

Parking for the van in Hamsey Green
On the Surrey side, Surrey County Council's 2024 parking review approved double yellow lines on the inside of the bends in Verdayne Gardens, because cars on the verges were forcing people walking into the road. On the Croydon side there is no controlled parking zone: Croydon's Sanderstead permit zone covers only a few streets by Sanderstead station. Both councils have local yellow lines, so read the signs in your road and tell us if there is room on the drive.

Said after the sign-off
Nice hardworking lads that always do a good job. We used them for our old flat when moving out and for the new one now, both jobs were done very professionally. My wife is very impressed with the results and would recommend them to friends and family.
I would certainly recommend this service, very efficient and good value for money. The young man did a great job and even cleaned the kitchen floor. Thank you.
Very satisfied with the service. They were slightly late at first but I got a call from customer service to let me know, and it was all fine. The oven man, as he called himself, arrived and worked very hard for a couple of hours. My oven now looks like it has never been used.
