Around Queen Caroline Street about 60 per cent of household spaces are social rented, against a national figure closer to 17 per cent, and that one number tells you what most of our Hammersmith Broadway callouts actually are. What the flats here usually need
Integrated singles in the newer riverside conversions, older freestanding units on the estate. The extraction is the surprise. Recirculating hoods with charcoal filters get ignored for a decade, and we clean a lot of extractor hoods in the Queen Caroline Street blocks alongside the oven, at £28. Shelves, trays and side runners come out to the tank. Cavity, fan cover and door glass are done by hand indoors with non-caustic products, so nothing lingers in a one-bed with the windows facing the Broadway.

Is the price higher because of the ULEZ and the traffic?
No. Prices are fixed on the phone and there is no call-out fee inside the North and South Circular.
How long does it take?
Ninety minutes for a single oven, roughly two hours for a double.
Do you clean the hob at the same time?
Yes, £23–28 depending on the type. Gas burners on the estate cookers take a bit longer than a ceramic top.
