Two kinds of kitchen dominate our Frognal and Fitzjohns work. Up in the Redington and Frognal conservation area, the streets the RedFrog Association has looked after since 1988, the houses are large detached villas, some running to well over a thousand square metres, and an AGA or a wide Rangemaster is common. Down the Fitzjohn's Avenue corridor between Swiss Cottage and Hampstead Village it is more often a mansion-block flat with a single integrated oven. Both come to us for the same reason. No chemical smell after.
AGAs and range cookers up on the ridge
Houses on Redington Road, Heath Drive and Kidderpore Avenue tend towards the heavier cookers, and a two-oven AGA is a half-day job at £143 because the lids, plates and doors all lift out to soak in the tank in the van while the enamel is worked by hand indoors and then put back together. Parking on Fitzjohn's Avenue
Parking is the real operational fact here. Fitzjohn's Avenue and the roads off it sit under two Camden zones, CA-B and CA-H(b), with the tighter one controlled Monday to Friday until 8pm and Saturdays too, and both zones run at a parking stress ratio around 96 to 97 percent, so bays are scarce. We factor the walk from the van into the timing when the mansion flat is up a couple of flights.

Do you clean AGAs and Rangemasters in Hampstead?
Yes. They are a large share of the Frognal and Fitzjohns work. A two-oven AGA is £143 and takes roughly half a day, heat-tested before we sign it off.
Is the method safe for an integrated oven in a mansion flat?
Yes. The removable parts soak in the van, and the cavity, fan cover and door glass are degreased by hand with non-caustic products, so nothing corrosive touches the fittings.
Do you charge more because it is Hampstead?
No. Prices are fixed on the phone with no premium-area surcharge, and there is no call-out fee inside the North and South Circular.
Will parking restrictions add to my bill?
No. Where we park is our problem, not yours. The price quoted on the phone is the price.
