Most of Forty Hill is 1930s terraces and maisonettes strung along Forty Hill road itself and the lanes off it, with a scatter of older Victorian villas set back in bigger plots. Parking rarely troubles us in Forty Hill. There is no controlled zone along Forty Hill or Bulls Cross the way there is down in EN3, so the technician pulls up outside and carries the racks to the tank in the van. All of EN1 and EN2 sits inside the ULEZ and our van meets it. There is no call-out fee inside the North and South Circular, and no premium for a semi-rural EN2 postcode.
The cavity, fan cover and door glass are done by hand indoors, so there is no chemical smell when we go.
