Most of our Finchley work is the Edwardian County Roads off East Finchley High Road, near the Art Deco archer over the tube station, and the terraces around Church End in N3. Because plenty of those houses were long ago split into flats, the oven we meet is as often a compact built-under single, awkward to reach in a galley kitchen, as it is a full freestanding cooker with a proper set of shelves and runners. Up toward Tally Ho Corner the houses run bigger, Victorian double-fronts and Edwardian homes near Woodside Park, and the cookers grow with them.
What the clean involves
Racks, shelves, trays and side runners lift out and soak in a heated tank in the van, which keeps the messy part out of your sink. The cavity, fan cover and door glass are cleaned by hand with non-caustic products, so nothing acrid is left in a flat that shares air with the next room. We split the door where the model allows, then rebuild, heat-test and sign off. A single takes about ninety minutes, a double nearer two hours.

A note on parking
Parts go back and forth to the van, so a spot near the door helps. The County Roads and streets off Church End can be tight, and North Finchley runs a CPZ near Tally Ho Corner. Tell us the permit position when you book. Finchley sits outside the ULEZ boundary.

Yes, that is a large share of the N3 work. We ease it out where we have to, clean it, and put it back without marking the units.
Will there be a smell afterwards?
No. The indoor products are non-caustic, so there is nothing lingering once we leave, which matters in a small flat.
Can you park on the County Roads?
Usually. Those streets are narrow, so tell us the permit or CPZ details and we find the nearest legal spot.
