Farnborough Village keeps its old village layout and part of it is a conservation area, so a lot of the housing here is period cottages and older terraces rather than new-build flats. We work the parades and the streets behind them: Locksbottom along Crofton Road, from the Fantail down toward Tugmutton Common, plus Crofton Lane, Kelvin Parade and Tile Farm Avenue. Parking is mostly straightforward on the side streets. It gets tighter near the Locksbottom shops and around the PRUH, so on those jobs we tend to park on the nearest quiet road and carry the racks the short distance to the van.
