Falconwood is a 1930s estate, near enough one design. There is variety at the edges: 3 and 4-storey blocks of flats on Lingfield Crescent, at the corner of Rochester Way and Riefield Road, and maisonettes on Millbrook Avenue, where the ovens are integrated singles. Whatever the layout, the racks, shelves, trays and side runners lift out and soak in the heated tank in the van, while the cavity, fan cover and door glass are degreased indoors by hand with non-caustic products, so the kitchen holds no chemical smell after. Parking on the estate roads
The residential roads inside the Hook Lane loop are quiet and usually easy for the van to park on, which suits the tank and kit going back and forth. Rochester Way, the A2 that cuts the estate, is a red route, so we park off it on the side streets rather than on the main road. Falconwood sits across the Bexley and Greenwich boundary, so a job can be DA16 one street and SE9 the next, and it is inside the London-wide ULEZ.
Do the prices change between the SE9 and DA16 sides?
No. Falconwood straddles the boundary, and the fixed prices are the same wherever your street falls.
Can you clean an integrated oven in the Lingfield Crescent flats?
Yes. An integrated single is the £77 clean. Tell us the floor and whether there is a lift or a shared stair when you book.
Is the oven usable straight after?
Yes. We heat-test it and sign it off, and the non-caustic products mean there is nothing to air out first.
