The semi-detached ward
At the 2021 Census 49.0% of Endlebury's households lived in a semi-detached house, the highest share of any of Waltham Forest's 22 wards. Only 13.3% lived in a terrace, the lowest in the borough, and 28.6% were in purpose-built flats.

A ward of owner-occupiers
Endlebury had 3,559 households in 2021. 68.1% owned their home, more than in any other Waltham Forest ward, and 14.2% rented privately, the fewest. With so few lets, a clean here is usually the owner's own decision; landlords who do let a house can still have the invoice in the agency's name.
The ward lost some ground when the boundaries were redrawn for May 2022: part of the old Endlebury ward went into Valley ward, even though a few residents objected that they looked to Endlebury. Endlebury now has two councillors, and the town centre is in Chingford Green ward.
