Parking on the curving estate roads
The estate roads named after Woolwich Arsenal men, Congreve Road, Maudslay Road, Shrapnel Road and Whinyates Road among them, were laid out narrow and curving on garden-suburb lines, so a van needs a sensible spot and a morning slot helps.
