Most of our Elmers End diary is the 1930s semi-detached houses that fill the roads off Elmers End Road and Upper Elmers End Road, the ones with the bay windows and the driveway. Closer to the station there are the post-war terraces and the mid-century flats around Churchfields Road, usually a single integrated oven built into the run of units. Parking near the station and the park
Elmers End Road runs along the south-east corner of South Norwood Country Park, and the turnings off it are mostly the wide interwar type with driveways, so a van can pull in close. Bromley runs its permits through the RingGo app. All of BR3 came inside the ULEZ when it reached the borough. No call-out fee inside the North and South Circular, no premium for Elmers End.
