The Heygate is gone. Where it stood we now clean integrated single ovens in the Elephant Park towers, the Lendlease flats that replaced it, and those are quick, tidy kitchens with one oven under an induction hob. Walk five minutes down Walworth Road and the job changes. The terraces and the older estates run freestanding cookers, some doubles, and they have often gone longer between cleans.
This is a dense rental patch, which shapes the diary. A lot of our calls are end-of-tenancy through the agents clustered near the station and along Walworth Road, Foxtons at number 4 and Chase Evans by the tube among them. Racks, shelves and trays lift out into the heated tank in the van. The cavity, fan cover and door glass are cleaned by hand indoors with non-caustic products, so a small tower flat is not left smelling of chemicals.
Two kinds of kitchen, one price list
The new-build integrated ovens take about ninety minutes and get heat-tested before we sign off. The Victorian stock around the Pullens Estate off Amelia Street, and the walk-ups near East Street Market, is where the heavier double-oven work sits. Same price either way.
If your flat has a built-in double, our double oven clean is £110 and takes around two hours.
Parking and access
Much of SE17 sits inside a Southwark controlled parking zone with weekday daytime controls, and the Aylesbury and estate blocks have their own access quirks, so we plan the van and the lift before we arrive. You do not need to save us a space.

Usually. We work seven days, so if an agent needs the flat back this week we can generally fit it in around the check-out date.

No problem. A heavier cooker that has not been done in a while can need a longer soak, but a double stays £110 whatever we find inside.
Is there parking for the van near the estates?
We work it out ourselves, including lift access in the taller blocks. Parking is on us.
