Do you come out past the North Circular?
Yes. The A406 cuts through Upper Edmonton and plenty of N9 and N18 sits north of it, along with E4 and EN1. All of Greater London is inside the ULEZ, so that side of it makes no difference to the price.
Will the kitchen smell of oven cleaner afterwards?
No. Everything caustic stays sealed in the tank outside. The cavity, fan cover and door glass are degreased by hand with non-caustic products, which is worth knowing in a high-rise flat where the windows only open a few inches.
How long does it take?
Ninety minutes or so for a single, about two hours for a double. Add a bit for the lift on the taller blocks.
Is the oven tested before you go?
Yes. It goes back together, gets heat-tested and is signed off in front of you. If a bulb or a seal has gone, you get told.
