Eaton Square is six rectangular gardens, about 6 hectares in all, laid out from 1827 on marshy ground that Thomas Cubitt raised with earth dug out for St Katharine Docks; the King's Road runs through the middle of it. It is part of the Grosvenor estate and lies in Westminster. Sloane Square and Sloane Terrace, a short walk west, are across the line in Kensington and Chelsea.
Listed stucco houses on the square
Parts of the square are listed Grade II*. Historic England's entry for Nos. 8-23, on the south-east side, describes a grand stucco terrace of about 1825, laid out and largely designed by the Cubitts: three storeys, an attic and a mansard attic over a basement, with Greek Doric porches to most of the houses. Nos. 103-118, on the north-west side, carry the same grade. St Peter's Church, at the north-east corner, was built by Henry Hakewill in 1824-27, destroyed by fire in 1987 and refitted in 1988-91.
Houses of this plan have a basement, and where the kitchen is still down there, mention the stairs when you call. Racks, trays and side runners come out and are soaked and cleaned separately; the cavity, the fan cover and the door glass are degreased by hand where the oven stands, and the door is split if its design allows. Dust sheets are laid first.
Houses and owners at the western end of the square
The Census area that covers the western end of the square (Westminster 019A, in Knightsbridge and Belgravia ward) had 674 households in 2021. 47.5% lived in a whole terraced house and 56.7% owned their home, 36.1% outright. 40.4% rented privately.

Westminster parking hours on Eaton Square
Belgravia is Westminster's parking sub-zone A2. On the council's tariff and hours table from 2 March 2026, paid bays and single yellow lines there are controlled 8.30am to 6.30pm Monday to Friday and 8.30am to 1.30pm on Saturday, and resident bays 8.30am to 10pm Monday to Saturday. The same table notes that resident bay signs show the parent zone, A, without the sub-zone. Can you clean the hob and the hood of a range cooker at the same visit?
Yes. Each is £48 on top of the range price. Mention them when you call so the visit is long enough.
Where is the oven actually cleaned?
The cavity, fan cover and door glass are cleaned by hand where the oven stands, and the racks, trays and side runners come out to be soaked and cleaned separately. Some teams have a heated tank on the van and use it when they can park close; otherwise everything is done in the kitchen, at the same price, so ask when you book.
How long does a single oven take?
About 90 minutes on site.
