A lot of East Ham cooking is properly aromatic, and the ovens show it. The three-storey bay-fronted Victorian terraces around Central Park, Plashet Grove and Lathom Road tend to hold big freestanding or range cookers feeding a full household, and by the time we see one the door glass is usually opaque with baked-on oil. That is a good job for the dip-tank. Range cookers in the bigger terraces
Because these houses are taller and the households larger than the two-storey stock further north, we see more 90cm range cookers here than in most of Newham. Parking near High Street North
The controlled zone around the station and High Street North runs Monday to Saturday, so we plan for it. South of Barking Road and around Central Park a lot of the streets stay unrestricted, which makes the van easy to place. High Street North itself has loading limits and is too busy to work from anyway.

No. East Ham is inside the North and South Circular, so no call-out fee and no premium-area surcharge. The list price is the price.
Can you get baked-on oil off the door glass?
Yes. Where the door design allows we split it and clean the inner glass, which is where the brown film builds up on a well-used oven.
How long does a range cooker take?
Longer than a single. Allow a good couple of hours for a 90cm range with two cavities, since the runners and both sets of shelves go through the tank.
Is the cleaning safe around a busy family kitchen?
Yes. The strong degreasing is done in the tank in the van, and the products used indoors are non-caustic, so there is no smell once we leave.
