Haven Green Court, the four-storey block of flats on the north side of Haven Green, was built in 1937 and 1938 and is Locally Listed in the council's appraisal of the Haven Green conservation area, which picks out its mansard roof of green pantiles.

That conservation area was designated in 1982 and enlarged in 1993, and again when Ealing's planning committee approved its review of conservation areas on 19 November 2025. The Great Western opened Ealing station in 1838, but the appraisal says there was little new development until commuter services began in the 1870s. The District Railway arrived on 1 July 1879, and the tall four-storey houses on the west side of the Green and the north side of Castlebar Road date from 1870 to 1880. Gordon Road and Longfield Road were built up by 1890. Tucked into the north-east corner, nos 1 to 13 Mountfield Road are a terrace of two-storey cottages from 1863 on very small plots.
In the census area that includes Haven Green Court (ONS area Ealing 041A), 41.2% of households were in a purpose-built block of flats at the 2021 Census and 26.9% in part of a converted or shared house; 15.7% had a terraced house. A flat cut out of a tall Victorian villa often ends up with a compact kitchen, a built-in single oven or a slim freestanding cooker, and a staircase between it and the street.

Each appliance has one price, agreed on the phone before the visit. A single is one cavity. A double has a second, smaller oven above the main one, usually with the grill in it, so there is twice the glass and more racks, which is why it costs £110.
Renting by the station
Ealing Broadway ward had the highest share of private renting in the borough at the 2021 Census: 49.2% of its 6,213 households. Around Haven Green Court the figure was 45.5%. The station has been on the Elizabeth line since 24 May 2022, when TfL Rail took the new name. A tenancy that ends usually ends with an inventory check, and the oven is on it.

Zone W parking around Haven Green
Haven Green, Haven Lane, Mountfield Road, Gordon Road, Longfield Road and The Broadway all sit in Ealing's Zone W, which the council lists as controlled from 9am to 10am and from 3pm to 4pm, Monday to Friday. Its page adds that any other restriction is shown on the street signs, so check the signs outside your door. The same zone runs up Mount Park Road and Montpelier Road into Montpelier. A single takes about 90 minutes and a double about 2 hours, so a late-morning start finishes well before the afternoon hour. Yes. We work seven days, and a Saturday or Sunday visit costs the same as a weekday. Zone W's listed hours are weekdays only.
Where is the oven cleaned if my kitchen opens onto the living room?
The cavity, fan cover and door glass are degreased by hand, normally in your kitchen, on dust sheets, and the racks, trays and side runners come out and are soaked and cleaned separately. Some teams have a heated tank on the van and use it when they can park close; otherwise everything is done in the kitchen. The price is the same either way, so ask when you book.
Can the hob be done on the same visit?
Yes. A gas hob is £28 and a ceramic hob £23, added to the oven price.

Brilliant clean, my oven looks like brand new. A 5 star clean.
Very satisfied with the service. They were slightly late at first but I got a call from customer service to let me know, and it was all fine. The oven man, as he called himself, arrived and worked very hard for a couple of hours. My oven now looks like it has never been used.
