Downside Village was made a conservation area in 1979, running from St Matthew's School and the Old School House, past the Cricketers and across the common to Tinmans Row, with Park View at one end of it and Keeper's Cottage at the other. Will the kitchen smell when you have gone?
It should not. The parts soak outdoors and the cavity, fan cover and door glass are hand-cleaned with non-caustic products, then the oven is heat-tested before sign-off.
