The housing here splits sharply. Can you clean an integrated oven in a new-build flat?
Yes, that is most of the work around Rathbone Market and the newer blocks. We ease the oven out where the fixings allow, hand-clean the cavity and fan cover, and soak the racks and trays in the tank.
Do ExCeL event days affect when you can come?
They can affect parking and traffic, not whether we come. We just pick a slot that avoids the worst of the crowd on the dock roads.
How long will a single oven take?
Around ninety minutes. A double is closer to two hours. We heat-test it before we leave.
Is there a smell afterwards?
No. The caustic dip work happens in the tank outside. Indoors we use non-caustic products by hand.
If the door glass has gone brown between the panes, we split the door where the design allows and clean both sides.
