Crouch Hill itself runs along the Islington and Haringey boundary between Stroud Green and Crouch End, and the road splits our diary in two. West of it sits Islington, east of it Haringey, and the bay-fronted Victorian terraces on both sides were mostly carved into flats decades ago.
