Cripplegate is the most populous ward in the City of London, with 2,782 residents at the last full count, and that is because Cripplegate Without is where the Barbican Estate sits, with the Golden Lane Estate added to the ward when the boundary moved off Islington in 1994. Podium lifts and the car park below
Access is the real difference between here and a suburban semi. No vehicle reaches most block entrances, because the podium is a pedestrian deck and the roads run under it. The van goes into the residents car park, which has 24-hour porterage and is arranged through the Barbican Estate Office, and parts ride the lift up to podium level and back down. Cripplegate is inside the North and South Circular, so there is no call-out fee.

Very satisfied with the service. They were slightly late at first but I got a call from customer service to let me know, and it was all fine. The oven man, as he called himself, arrived and worked very hard for a couple of hours. My oven now looks like it has never been used.
