Crews Hill is nearly all green belt, with the houses squeezed into about five streets forming the built-up bit near the station, so the residential oven work here is a smaller diary than anywhere else we cover in EN2. Most of what surrounds those streets is the garden centres along Cattlegate Road and the old glasshouse land that gave the place its name as a horticultural mile. Reaching Crews Hill from the van
Crews Hill station sits on the Hertford Loop, the Moorgate line, and the roads out here are wide and rural, so parking outside a property is rarely a problem. All of EN2 is inside the ULEZ and the van meets it. There is no controlled parking zone this far north, unlike the EN3 streets closer to the town, and no call-out fee inside the North and South Circular.
