We clean ovens in Cornhill, EC3V, the City ward between Bank junction and Leadenhall Street, seven days a week. A single oven starts at £77.
Cornhill recorded about eleven residents in seven households at the 2011 census. That is the entire ward. It sits on one of the three ancient hills of London, 17.7 metres up, on ground that was the Roman forum of Londinium, and it holds two Wren churches, the Merchant Taylors' Hall on Threadneedle Street and the Royal Exchange, and roughly enough people to fill a minibus.
So the honest version is this. Cornhill is offices. Our work here is the few flats and the corporate lets, plus check-out cleans when one of them changes hands. We are not going to pretend there are terraces.
The van cannot come in through Bank between 7am and 7pm
Cornhill is one of the arms of Bank junction, and since the scheme was made permanent in 2018 the junction is buses and cycles only from 7am to 7pm, Monday to Friday, with black cabs allowed between Poultry and Cornhill on a trial that started in July 2025. A van is not on that list. We come in from the Leadenhall Street end instead. Weekend jobs are simpler for exactly that reason, and we work Saturdays and Sundays anyway.

- Dip tank
- A heated tank in the van. Racks, shelves, trays and side runners soak in it while we work indoors.
- End of tenancy oven clean
- A clean done to check-out standard, so the inventory clerk signs the oven off and the deposit is not argued over.
- Pyrolytic
- An oven with a self-clean cycle that bakes soil to ash. It still leaves the door glass and the fan cover, which is what we come for.
Most of what we see in the ward is a single integrated fan oven in a small kitchen. If yours is one of those, the standard clean we do off St Michael's Alley takes about ninety minutes.
Is there really nobody living in Cornhill?
Eleven people, at the last count that broke it down. They are real and we clean their ovens.
Do you charge more for a City postcode?
No. Single £77, double £110, wherever you are inside the North and South Circular.
Will the flat smell of chemicals?
It should not. The caustic work stays in the tank outside; indoors we use non-caustic products by hand on the cavity, fan cover and glass.
Can you come on a Sunday?
Yes, and around Bank junction it is often the easier day to get a van near your door.

What customers tell us
Brilliant clean, my oven looks like brand new. A 5 star clean.
I would certainly recommend this service, very efficient and good value for money. The young man did a great job and even cleaned the kitchen floor. Thank you.
Very satisfied with the service. They were slightly late at first but I got a call from customer service to let me know, and it was all fine. The oven man, as he called himself, arrived and worked very hard for a couple of hours. My oven now looks like it has never been used.
