Parking near Chatsworth Road
Parking in E5 needs planning, so we sort it before we arrive. Upper Clapton has its own controlled zone U, Chatsworth Road has pay bays and meters, and there is an active parking consultation on the Chatsworth Estate, so the picture shifts street by street. On a Sunday the Chatsworth Road market takes the road, so we book market-side flats for another day. The heated tank stays in the van, which means we can park a short walk away and still carry the parts in.

E5 has a lot of rented flats and a fast turnover of tenants, so end-of-tenancy oven cleans are steady, and a single oven at £77 is the usual booking. The oven is heat-tested and signed off before we leave, ready for the inventory check.

Can you come on a market Sunday?
We do work Sundays, but for a flat right on Chatsworth Road we usually pick a day the market is not on, so the van can get close.
My integrated oven in a new flat looks fine. Is it worth cleaning?
Often yes. The glass and fan cover pick up grease you cannot see from the front, and a single oven is a quick ninety-minute job.
