Most of our Childs Hill work is the Victorian and Edwardian terraces on Claremont Road, Anson Road and Chatsworth Road, a lot of which were long ago split into two or three flats each, so a house that once had one family kitchen now holds several separate built-in ovens and a single street can throw up half a dozen jobs. How the clean runs
The racks, shelves, trays and side runners come out and soak in a heated tank in the van. The cavity, fan cover and door glass we degrease by hand indoors with non-caustic products, so there is no chemical smell after, and the oven is heat-tested before we sign it off. A single takes about ninety minutes. In the converted terraces the usual booking is a single oven clean with a hob added.
Parking on the terraced streets
Parking is a genuine part of the day around Childs Hill. Hendon Way runs down the western edge and you never stop on that, so the van comes off it onto the side roads where the racks carry in. The terraced streets get tight by mid-morning. All of NW2 sits inside the ULEZ, and there is no call-out fee inside the North and South Circular.

My flat has an integrated oven behind a cupboard door. Can you still clean it?
Yes. The removable racks and trays still lift out for the tank, and the fixed cavity is degreased by hand where it sits. Integrated makes no difference to the price.
I am a landlord on one of the converted streets. Can you turn a flat round between tenants?
Yes. Book the checkout day and we leave a receipt for the deposit paperwork. Month ends are busy here, so a few days notice helps.
Where do you park on Claremont Road?
Off Hendon Way onto the side streets, and the racks carry the short distance in. A morning slot is easier before it fills.
