The clock tower in the middle of Greatpark, off Chelsham Road, was the water tower of Warlingham Park Hospital, which opened on 26 June 1903 as the Croydon Mental Hospital and closed in February 1999.
Greatpark, a gated estate on the hospital site
Berkeley Homes bought the land, and every hospital building came down in 2000 except the water tower, a Venetian-style campanile listed Grade II in 1994. In 2012 two thousand of its bricks were repointed in black mortar to match the original. The estate's residents put it at 147 homes on 84 acres: detached, terraced and town houses, plus three blocks of flats. Tower Place is close to the tower. The hospital's old staff cottages on Harrow Road are private houses now.

A built-in double is two ovens in one tall housing: a large fan oven below and a smaller top oven that often has the grill in it. Both are cleaned at the same visit, in about two hours, for £110. Their racks, trays and side runners come out and are soaked and cleaned separately. Housing outside Greatpark
The rest of the parish is mostly fields and woodland, with houses along Chelsham Road, Chelsham Common, Ledgers Road, Washpond Lane, Church Lane and Blackman's Lane, and the hamlet of Fickleshole on Fairchildes Road. In 1912 the Victoria County History noted open roadside waste at Bull Green and St Leonard's church standing alone on a steep knoll. Farleigh, the parish's other village, is covered on this page too.
The parish's three Census 2021 output areas held 837 people in 321 households. Of the 321 households, 135 had a detached house and 74 a terraced one, and 31 lived in a purpose-built flat. ONS figures compiled by citypopulation.de put the parish at 384 people in 2001 and 865 in 2011, a rise that fits the new houses at Greatpark.

Yes. Fickleshole is a hamlet of the parish, on Fairchildes Road, where the White Bear pub (late 17th century) and Fickleshole Farmhouse (early 18th century) are both Grade II listed.
