Getting the van to the door
Chelsfield station opened in 1868 about a mile west of the old village, and the residential roads around it park easily, so the carry from the van is short. The lanes east of the A224 run into green belt farmland toward Well Hill and Pratt's Bottom, where driveways are long but there is space to pull in off the road.
