Chancery Lane runs about 0.3 miles one-way from Fleet Street up to High Holborn, and three councils have a claim on it, because the east side sits in the City of London while the west side is Westminster below Carey Street and Camden above it. The van parks where it can and we walk
Chancery Lane station is not on Chancery Lane. It is up at the Holborn and Gray's Inn Road junction, which is worth knowing if you are giving us directions. Loading is the real constraint on the lane itself, so we work from a paid bay or an off-street space and carry the parts out to the tank. Lincoln's Inn Fields, the largest public square in London at over ten acres, is close enough that plenty of jobs are a short walk from where the van ends up.

Do you clean flats let through an agent?
Yes, and a lot of the WC2A work is exactly that. Private rental is the common tenure around Lincoln's Inn Fields, so check-out cleans make up much of the diary.
Is there a smell afterwards?
No. The strong products stay in the tank in the van. The cavity, fan cover and door glass are degreased by hand indoors with non-caustic products.
How long will you be in the flat?
A single oven takes around ninety minutes. A double is nearer two hours. The oven is heat-tested and signed off before we leave.
