Lewisham's Mayor and Cabinet considered a Catford Town Centre Business Plan for 2026 to 2030 on 9 September 2026, and local news reports that it was approved. Behind Catford Broadway, the Thomas Lane car park is due to become two blocks of 7 to 11 storeys with 113 homes; the council expects main building work to start in early 2027 and the homes to be finished in 2029.
