The Cleveland estate, off Argyle Road in what was the north-west corner of the borough of Ealing, was planned in 1924; by 1928 semi-detached houses in Avalon Road ran from Vallis Way to the Crossway.

A station with no Sunday trains
Castle Bar Park opened on the Greenford branch in 1904 as Castle Bar Park Halt, and the word Halt was dropped on 5 May 1969. Great Western Railway runs two trains an hour between West Ealing and Greenford on weekdays and Saturdays only; on Sundays nothing stops. No. The streets on this page are W13, with W7 postcodes nearer the platforms, while Castlebar Park the road is a separate W5 street, listed by the council in Zone TT (Kent Gardens), controlled 10am to 11am and 2pm to 3pm on weekdays.
We own an older semi on Fosse Way. Do we have to be in all day?
Only for the visit itself: about 90 minutes for a single, 2 hours for a double. Someone needs to let us in, and at the end you look inside the lit oven before we pack up.
What do you need from us on the day?
A working socket, somewhere close to park, and the oven switched off in good time so it is cool when we arrive.
